Innoventions, an Edutainment Place and Interactive Play Space

Innoventions is a pavilion, interactive play space, and edutainment place at Epcot theme park where kids of all ages imagine, invent, inquire and inspire as you explore amazing innovations that are making our lives better. It is comprised of two buildings, Innoventions East and Innoventions West.

Come get a fun lesson in fire safety as you compete against other Guests through the "most dangerous house in America." Stick with some wacky comediennes for a hysterical look at one of our most useful problem solvers. Help protect the environment from the daily waste we create. Push the limits of everyday products as you test their safety (yes, some slamming, smashing and bashing is involved). Use robots to make music. And beyond. Around here, a little imagination goes a long way! Where will yours take you?

1. Storm Struck: The Tale of Two Homes – Experience what it feels like to be in the perfect storm and discover ways to protect your home
2. The House of Innoventions – Breakthrough technology brings online entertainment and other Internet content into everyday devices and appliances. Discover innovative products that provide that added comfort, security, convenience, entertainment and overall control to our homes and our lives.
3. Don't Waste It! – Play games that challenge you to recycle, reduce and reuse "virtual trash" to create alternate forms of energy that fuel our homes and our communities.
4. Test the Limits Lab – Treat yourself to a safety test where you are invited to shatter, drop and impact some of the products Underwriters Laboratories—a non-profit, product safety organization—test every day

1. ThinkPlace – Visit Run Time where you can play in a different way. Put yourself in the game – become an avatar and run, jump, and dance your way through a video game.
2. "Slapstick Studios" – Participate in a wacky game show and discover creative ways to solve problems. Visit the Creative Solutions Workshop and create your own masterpiece.
3. Rockin' Robots – Create your very own music with the help of 4 instrument-playing robots that you control
4. Videogame Playground – Experience the latest in videogame technology as you compete against your favorite sports teams, challenge a villain to a duel or embark on a one-of-a-kind adventure with some of your favorite Disney Characters
5. Segway Central – Discover the Segway, the world's first self-balancing, electric-powered personal transporter
6. Where's the Fire? – Get your picture taken at the 30-foot pumper truck, become a Fire Chief by answering the most questions at the Burning Questions kiosks, and explore the most dangerous house in America in this fun exhibit promoting fire safety

Get ready for an exhilirating journey with world geography at the Magellan's PlayWorld. This area will soon ground break.

Taj Mahal

This enchanting setting of 7 continents features the Asian Fishing Village, St. Peter's Dome Wading Pool, Sidney's Opera House Carousel, South American Big Foot Rally Racing and more.

Learn a language or two as you walk thru the interactive doll houses in the International Doll House Village show casing the French Chateau, Spanish Villa, Victorian Mansion and Indian teepee.

Sydney's Opera House

Brush up in geography as you navigate your way out of the African Safari Maze and be amazed at the topiary of wild animals, pyramid and Moroccan structures.

KIDZANIA, an Edutainment Place Where Kidz Wanna Go

KIDZANIA is a unique EDUTAINMENT CENTER for children between 4 to 16 years oldand their parents.
It is a kid-sized replica of a real city, with streets, buildings, retail and different vehicles going around the City.

KIDZANIA is divided into three main areas: Airport, the entrance area where children board the plane to KIDZANIA; City Central, filled with abundant commercial activities; and Suburbs, an area where all of the factories are located.

There are more than 100 role play activities that children can choose from, with a variety of scenarios and technologies to make the situation as real as possible.

Here, children play adult roles and they learn how to be a doctor, a pilot, a construction worker, a private detective, an archeologist, an F1 driver and over 100 otherPROFESSIONS and OCCUPATIONS.

There is a replica of the most representative buildings in a city such as Hospital, Supermarket, Beauty Salon, Theatre, Industrial sites, and many more.

KIDZANIA is a SAFE, INTERACTIVE and HIGHLY EDUCATIONAL center where kids wear the uniform and perform the role they are playing. Led by our Zupervisor, they learn the complexities of the adult world, and learn the value of money, just as in real life.

In KIDZANIA, kids use our official currency KIDZOS. Here, children learn to appreciate the value of money, by performing over 100 professions and occupations and earn a salary. Their salaries earned, can then be used to buy goods and services available in KIDZANIA

Economy

KIDZANIA has it’s own economy, ‘Kidzo’ is the legal currency.
Each time you visit KIDZANIA, you will receive a 50 kidzos check. Once inside, you must go to the bank, cash your check and use your money to buy goods and services such as: rent car, get a hair-do at the beauty salon, or shop at KIDZANIA Department Store, for instance.

Kidzos are not for sale with real money, if you spend all your kidzos or if you want to earn more, you must get a job and work to provide a product or service such as firefighter, dentist, hairdresser, or construction worker, or choose among many different professions.

At every pavilions or activity you may spend or earn kidzos. For example: at the Fire Station you can earn money, while at the KIDZANIA Department Store you can spend them. However, there are lots of establishments where you can do both of things, at the Hospital, for instance, you can be a doctor and earn money or be a patient and pay to get medical attention.

Consumer goods and product prices are different depending of the pavilion or the activity and they can change depending on the popularity of the activity compared with others.

If you want to save Kidzos and manage your credit balance, you can open a savings account at the bank.

KIDZANIA now is available in several city around the world. The cities are Mexico City, Monterrey, Tokyo, Jakarta, Seoul, Lisbon, Dubai, Koshien, Santiago, and Santa Fe.
